Mini Dental Implant Process Explained

Watch this video from New Jersey dentist Dr. Samuel Lemieux of the Mini Dental Implant Centers of America in Union City as he explains the mini dental implant process.

So a patient comes in for a free consultation, where we’ll take CBCT for free for the patient, and a CBCT is a CT scan of their jaw. That’s a three-dimensional image that we can actually utilize to really see what the patient’s bone looks like and what anatomical structures are around that missing tooth site.

After the consultation, we’ll get them back for their first visit, where we’ll place the implant and do a temporary crown on top of that. We’ll take an impression and send that out to the lab. Three weeks later, the final product comes back in porcelain, and we’ll cement that on. So two visits and you’ll have a tooth again.
